The Quiet Life go quiet

Paul and his beautiful wife Rachel are expecting a baby any day now so it’s all hands on deck in preparation for the arrival of baby Elizabeth. So, for the near future, it will be a little bit quieter on the band front as Paul ventures into the wonderful/scary/awesome/sleepless world of fatherhood. We are all very excited about it.

However, whilst Paul is changing nappies and cleaning sick off of his shoulder, David and myself will be working on a bit of a side project band to keep ourselves occupied. We’ve only just started writing stuff and it’s a long way off but it promises to be a lot of fun and a little bit louder.

Stay tuned for more activity from The Quiet Life.

There is SNOW gig tonight.

See what I did there?

Anyway, due to the snow fall and it literally crippling London and it’s transport, our gig at the Queen Boadicia has been cancelled.

We’ll have another gig coming soon so keep your ears open.

Have fun in the snow.

The Fly

Thanks for coming along to our gig at the Fly last night. As always, we appreciate the support. We felt it was a good gig and everything went really well. Thanks to all the other bands too. We might have another gig tomorrow night at Bart’s Student Union, so if you’re a student there, then we might see you then.

We’ve also got another gig coming up at the beginning on Feb. More info to come on that one at a later date.

Thanks again.

‘Harmonious, captivating and one of a kind….. a guitar-wielding megazord if you will…’

We recently had our first review! How exciting. Someone actually thought enough to write something down about us. The review is from our recent gig at the Hope & Anchor in Islington. It was a great night and we appreciated everyone in attendance. Thanks for coming along. Go to this link to have a quick read:
